University Medical Centre in Ljubljana was built as the largest and most modern hospital complex in the former Yugoslavia. With its architectural design sets new standards in the architecture of hospitals. The complex consists of several buildings. The design of complex followed complex functional requirements of medical activities. Building of the diagnostic - therapeutic part is formed with horizontal lines that are accessible part in the form of access ramps for vehicles and stairs to the visitors. Horizontal reinforced concrete belts are interrupt by glazed windows. The building's exterior is a warm yellow- reddish color, which is consistent with the materials and colors in the interior.
