


Zigzag architecture was founded in Madrid, Spain in 2005 by Bernardo Angelini and David Casino, both architects by the ETSAM (Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid). They had previously worked for prestigious firms like Foreign Office Architects, Nomad (E. Arroyo), Matos+Castillo, Aidhos, and Ensamble Studio (A. Garcia-Abril). David Casino is currently working as Professor at the UEM (Universidad Europea de Madrid) and Bernardo Angelini is currently working as Professor at the UPSAM (Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca-Madrid), combining their teaching activity with their research work in the studio. They have been awarded prizes for some of their Social Housing proposals.
