Giorgia Scognamiglio is an architect and urban designer from Rome, currently working in the Regeneration team of a London's borough.

Her on-going research mainly focuses on the themes of urban governance, community engagement and the collaborative design and management of public spaces. With an experience of professional consultancy and academic research and teaching at Sapienza University of Rome, she has collaborated with different experts on regeneration projects. In 2016, she co-founded mix!, a multidisciplinary collective aiming at reusing neglected spaces and mediate between different stakeholders in the provision of the built environment.
